TENSA-POLYFLEX
The TENSA-POLYFLEX plug expansion joint system is an entirely new development based on elastic polymers with the system available as both TENSA-POLYFLEX-ADVANCED PU as well as TENSA-POLYFLEX RapidCure RC.
Compared to other expansion joint designs, flexible plug expansion joints offer several advantages including:
- unsurpassed driving comfort
- nearly zero noise emission
- 100 % water tightness
- highly flexible installation possibilities in sections
- high horizontal movement ranges up to 135mm
- can be a suitable alternative to Modular and Mat Expansion Joints
TENSA-POLYFLEX-ADVANCED PU
The TENSA-POLYFLEX-ADVANCED PU joint uses a durable, fully elastic material with a very high tear resistance while causing minimal reaction forces. This means it can be cast into nearly any joint shape including upstands, skewed angles, T and X joints, etc.
TENSA-POLYFLEX RapidCure RC
The TENSA-POLYFLEX RapidCure RC boasts an extremely short curing time of just three hours – regardless of the ambient temperature during installation.
Thanks to the very short curing time, the TENSA-POLYFLEX RapidCure RC is particularly suitable for use in tough environments where high air humidity is to be expected. It’s also ideal for time-critical projects, such as overnight installation which would also benefit from the simplified and fast installation followed by a short curing time.
