A team of Route One employees are taking on The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge on the 4th June 2016, which includes the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough and aim to complete in under 12 hours. These peaks form part of the Pennine range and encircle the head of the valley of the River Ribble, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The Yorkshire Three Peaks route is 24-miles long and includes 5,200ft (1,585m) of ascent.
Route One are very proud to support the British Heart Foundation. Every 3 minutes in the UK someone is struck with a Heart Attack and 30% of attacks are fatal. It is very likely that one of our friends or family has been affect by Heart problems. The money we raise is critical to carrying out research for life saving support and to increase our fund raising potential we have set up ‘just giving’ page to enable donations to be made online. Any donations will be gratefully received for such a great cause

Gary Credland, Director says: “This is another good example of Route One supporting charities which have affected some of our workforce. Our nominated charity for 2016 is the British Heart Foundation. We will also be supporting this charity at our 10 year anniversary Open Day in June.”
