Route One were instructed by Eric Wright Civil Engineering to carry out the laying of Slurry Seal to a conservation area of Garth’s Head Lane in Kendal.

Products: Colas Slurry Seal Materials (Emulsion, K3 Stabiliser, Cellulose Fibre, Grey Pigment)

A Slurry Seal is the application of a mixture of water, asphalt emulsion, aggregate and additives to the existing asphalt pavement surface. It is economical to install and highly cost effective to use.

The works were carried out within a busy residential and pedestrian area and were completed on time and to programme.

A rapid installation process was adapted to minimise disruption. The close partnership between Route One and our materials supplier, Colas, ensured a successful installation.
